Whisper and Leah are mother and daughter, surrended to rescue when their owner died. They have been adopted by two sisters who live near each other. S0 they spend lots of time together.

A sheltie x American Eskimo Lady’s owner coldn’t spend enough time with her. She was adopted by a family who already had a rescue sheltie and they enjoy playing together

This friendly playful 4 year old came into our care due to a family breakup. In her new family with a a retired couple she has another sheltie for company.

Lil Bit

Lil Bit

Thru no fault of his own, L’il Bits owner and the dog were living in his truck for several months In her new home she turned into a social butterfly has gone to obedience and is getting some agility training!

Maverick

Maverick

Maverick and Oreo were raised together although not related .Family problems led to them being surrendered to rescue. Maverick is a bouncy outgoing fellow and enjoying his new home.

Shadow

Shadow was surrendered to a shelter.He had been an outdoor dog and badly neglected .He quickly adapted to indoor life Friendly with people and other dogs he was adopted by his foster family .

Miss Molly

This 7 yaer old’s family were too busy to look after her. She quickly adjusted to her new home with another resident sheltie.

Bentley

Bentley

This gentle giant was surrendered because he brought too much dirt into the house. He turned out to be a social butterfly.He also was diagnosed with DM(dermatomyositis) which was treated. His new family has a great yard and even takes Ben camping. (Ben is a half sibling of Bayo who has the same great personality)

Harley(who has the unusual coat called Coller Headed White) spent most of his life chained up in the yard because there was no fence and escaping frequently His new home includes a young Newfie and Harley has turned into the boss dog!

Oreo was raised with Maverick.He was a smaller, somewhat shy fellow.In his new home with a new sheltie buddy he has bloomed

The owner of this gorgeous Blue Merle fellow became homeless and could not look after him He is friendly with everybody and in his new home has a Rough Collie for company.

This lively 10 yr old was surrendered dur to the owners health issues. She loves to play Frisbee. She was adopted by a couple with another senior sheltie.

Callie was surrendered by a backyard breeder.Shy at first she was adopted by a lady with two other dogs and slowly gained confidence.

Desire

Desire

This gal was being raised by a breeder for an out of province owner. The arrangement didn’t work and Desire was surrender to us. A gentle quiet dog in foster care she flew to her new home with another sheltie and showed che also loved to run and chase.

Surrendered to ASR when her family had to leave their accomodation and could not find another home that allowed dogs. She was adopted by a wonderful lady recently retired – she was tops in her obedience class and lived happily with a house full of animals.

Karlee was surrendered when her elderly owner could no longer look after her. She was adopted by a lady who recently lost a sheltie and enjoys playing with another dog in the family and going for long walks.

Riley

Riley

Riley was surrendered to ASR when her owner became too ill to care for her. She has a few behavioural issues and her foster family have been working hard to help her. Riley has become such a part of this wonderful family that they will be adopting her. It has been good to see Riley blossom in her new home.

Sweetie

Sweetie came into rescue as a very timid 4 year old who had never been appropriately socialize. He has been adopted by a family with 2 other dogs and a cat and has quickly gained confidence and settled in well to his new life..

Tuxedo

Tuxedo

His previous family loved him but had to give him up as they had too many dogs. Tux was very timid when he first came into rescue but now that he has been adopted he is gaining a lot more confidence. His new family have 2 other shelties for him to play and visit with. They take him for many hikes and camping trips which he loves.

Misty

Misty

Misty was surrendered to Alberta Sheltie Rescue as she didn't get along with another dog in her family. She is now living happily with another rescued Sheltie (Kenner) and several cats, as well as her people. She and Kenner are great pals and have been to obedience classes together. They love going for long hikes with their new family
